John William Harris 
John was born in 1816. John's father was George Daniel Harris and his mother is Sarah Rebecca Humphries. His paternal grandparents are James Harris and Mary lloyd. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Emily, James , Hetman, Robert , Arthur, Richard, Edward , Marianne, Helen and Sarah. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 55 in 1871.General Notes
Arrived at Port Natal aboard the Justina in Nov 1850. He was not part of any immigration scheme and so did not owe allegiance to any one nor was any record kept of him.
