Ptolemy Eupator's father is Ptolemy ben Ptolemy and his mother is Cleopatra bint Ptolemy. His paternal grandparents are Ptolemy Epiphanes Ptolemy and Cleopatra I Antiochus; his maternal grandparents are Ptolemy Epiphanes Ptolemy and Cleopatra I Antiochus. He is the fifth of six children. He has two brothers and three sisters, named Ptolemy Neos, Ptolemy ben, Cleopatra Tryphaena, Cleopatra Thea and Cleopatra bint.
