Nicolas was born on September 9th, 1865 in Ciborz, parish of Lidzbark/Lautenburg, West Prussia, now Poland.1 Nicolas' father was Adam Przytula and his mother was Joanna Pszuk. His paternal grandparents were Michael Przytula and Marianna Bartkowska. He had a brother and three sisters, named Franz, Franciszka, Anna and Stella. He was the second oldest of the five children.-
