Augustinus was born on June 22nd, 1834 in Tessenderlo.1   Augustinus' father was Joseph Broekmans and his mother was Anna Coletta Vandeweyer.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 44 on October 2nd, 1878 in Oostham.
