Dimpna was born in 1617 and her baptism took place on June 30th, 1617 in Lummen.  Dimpna's father was Petrus Postelmans and her mother was Christine Wouters.  She had a brother and a sister, named Matheus and Horiana.  Dimpna and Horiana were twins.
