Gertrudis was born on March 17th, 1727 in Meeuwen.  Gertrudis' father was Egidius Gaethofs and her mother was Catharina Indekeu (IN DE KUIJE).  Her paternal grandparents were Joannes Gaethofs and Gertrudis Loys.  She had two brothers and five sisters, named Clemens, Joannes, Maria, Christina, Helena, Catherina and Maria.  She died at the age of 74 on June 14th, 1801 in Meeuwen.
