Josephus was born on November 24th, 1876 in Tessenderlo.1   Josephus' father was Augustinus Vandingenen and his mother was Maria Uulalia (Eulalia) Gaethofs. He had a brother and two sisters, named Ludovicus, Maria Cornelia and Maria Clementina.  He died at 2 months old on January 31st, 1877 in Tessenderlo.1
