LT. was born in 1648.  LT.'s father was DANIEL HOVEY and his mother was ABIGAIL ANDREWS.  His paternal grandfather was RICHARD (ENGLAND) HOVEY; his maternal grandfather was ROBERT ANDREWS and his maternal grandmother is ELIZABETH FRANKLIN.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 91 on March 4th, 1739.
