Zacharia (Zaccy) POINTON

Zacharia, known as Zaccy, was born on November 19th, 1859 in Aldinga, SA.¹   Zaccy's father was Jeremiah POINTON and his mother was Frances BROWN.  His paternal grandparents were John POINTER and Mary EMERSON; his maternal grandparents were Robert BROWN and Susanna MARTIN. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named William, Robert, Robert, Jeremiah, Ann, Rebecca, Christina, Maria, Mary, Emma, Alice and Susan.  He was the fourth youngest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 76 on September 11th, 1936 in Crystal Brook, SA.²
