Gilbert PENNA 
Gilbert was born on April 27th, 1896 in South Hummocks, SA.1 Gilbert's father was John PENNA and his mother was Ellen FORREST. His paternal grandparents were William PENNA and Gwenllyan POWELL; his maternal grandparents were William FORREST and Susannah DENDLE. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named John, Bruce, Arnold, Ellen, Daisy, Lottie, Maggie, Ruby, Neva and Ada. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 47 on August 24th, 1943.2 -
