Elizabeth was born in 1805 and her christening took place on February 11th, 1805 in Littlehampton, Sussex, England.1  Elizabeth's father was William OCKENDEN and her mother was Elizabeth HILLS. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Palmer, Albion, Agnes, Caroline and Emma.  She was the oldest of the six known children.
