George Gottlieb JAENSCH

George was born on December 14th, 1872 in Callington, SA.¹   George's father was Friederick Wilhelm JAENSCH and his mother was Mary Fredricke Augusta GERECKE. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Frederick, Albert, Carl, Dorothea, Rohda, Ida, Anna and Bertha.  He was the second oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 85 on November 7th, 1958 in Tailem Bend, SA.²
