William James CODD

William was born on May 18th, 1894 in Solomontown, SA.¹   William's father was Francis Henry CODD and his mother was Jane KNOTT.  His paternal grandparents were David CODD and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were James KNOTT and Betsy SCHUFFAM. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Francis, Edgar, Cecil, Ethel, Myrtle and Elsie.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 68 on June 26th, 1962 in Springbank, SA.²
