John BURTON

John was born on April 21st, 1840 in Adelaide, SA.¹   John's father was William BURTON and his mother was Esther GILBERT. He had four brothers and two sisters, named James, Charles, Frederick, Walter, Esther and Jane.  He was the oldest of the seven children.
