James Walmsley

James was born in March 1870 in Preston, Lancashire, England.¹ James' father was Joseph Walmsley and his mother was Ellen Hodgson. His paternal grandparents were James Walmsley and Mary Cleaver. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Joseph, Jane, Ellen, Isabella and Elizabeth. He is the second oldest of the seven children.
