John was born on May 28th, 1704 in Shropshire, England.  John's father was Edward Kynaston and his mother is Elizabeth Milward.  His paternal grandfather was Edward Kynaston and his paternal grandmother is Mary. He had four brothers named Richard, Edward, William and Roger.  He is the third oldest of the five children.
