Female Ruth Groom

Ruth's baptism took place on July 26th, 1835 in Tipton, Staffordshire, England.1   Ruth's father was Thomas Groom and her mother is Mary Preece. She had four brothers and five sisters, named John, William, Richard, Thomas, Eliza, Mary, Sarah, Rebecca and Rosanna.  She died about 1876.

Ruth and William Pope were married in a religious ceremony in December 1853 in Walsall, Staffordshire, England.2   They had three sons and five daughters, named William, James, John, Mary Ann, Sarah Jane, Hariett, Rosanna and Edith.
