Ellen Gregson

Ellen was born in September 1859 in Walton Le Dale, Preston, Lancashire, England.¹ Ellen's father was Peter Gregson and her mother was Elizabeth Marsden. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Gregson and Ellen Longton. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Henry, Thomas, Robert, Peter, Sarah, Mary Ann, Margaret J and Elizabeth. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 80 in 1939.²
