Female Mary Brown

Mary was born on July 5th, 1856 in 2 Russell Street, Sunderland, Durham, England.  Mary's father is William James Brown and her mother was Ann Armstrong.  Her paternal grandparents are Thomas Brown and Mary Rowland; her maternal grandfather is William Armstrong and her maternal grandmother was Hannah Reay. She had three brothers and three sisters, named William J, James, Thomas D, Hannah, Frances Ann and Alice Jane.  She was the oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 72 on March 7th, 1929 in 21 Ingleby Terrace, Sunderland, Durham, England.1

Mary and William were married in a religious ceremony on December 1st, 1876 in Sunderland, Durham, England.  They had a son and two daughters, named William Thomas, Christina Ann and Mary Elizabeth.
