Gertrude Birchall

Gertrude was born in June 1889 in Fulwood, Preston, Lancashire, England.¹ Gertrude's father is John Birchall and her mother is Ann Calderbank. Her maternal grandparents were Adam Calderbank and Jane Parkinson. She had four brothers and three sisters, named William, Richard, Joseph, George, Edith, Margaret and Jane. She is the youngest of the eight children.
