William Birch

William was born about 1827 in Kirkham, Fylde, Lancashire, England. William's father was Edward Birch and his mother is Alice Nixon. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John, Edward, Jane, Nancy, Margaret and Alice. He is the third oldest of the seven children.
