George was born on April 10th, 1814 in Chatteris Cambridge.  George's father was George Evans and his mother was Ann Lemon.  His maternal grandparents were Thomas Lemon and Elizabeth Sewell. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, James, James, Mary, Caroline, Elizabeth, Caroline and Evans.  He died at the age of 23 in 1837 in Chatteris Cambridge.
