Hannah was born in 1788 in Bridport, Dorset, England.  Hannah's father was John White and her mother was Hannah Forsey.  Her paternal grandparents were John White and Mary Adams. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Thomas, William, James, George, Tryphena and Edith.  She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She had a half-brother and six half-sisters, named John, Elizabeth, Charlotte, Aenella, Joan, Margaret and Mary.  She died at the age of 80 on January 31st, 1868 in Netherbury Dorset.
