Elizabeth was born in 1783 in Midsomer Norton, Somerset, England.  Elizabeth's father was Thomas Parsons and her mother was Betty Harris.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Parsons and Sarah Unknown; her maternal grandparents were George Harris and Ann Unknown. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named George, George, William, John, John, Henry, Thomas, Ann and Mary.  She was the oldest of the ten children. She had a half-brother named Thomas.  She died at the age of 78 in March 1861 in Midsomer Norton, Somerset, England.  She was buried on March 21st, 1861 in Midsomer Norton, Somerset, England.
