Elizabeth was born about 1284 in Ireland. Elizabeth's father was Richard 'the Red' De Burgh 2nd Earl of Ulster and her mother was Margaret de Burgo. Her paternal grandparents were Sir Walter De Burgh 1st Earl of Ulster and Isabel (Aveline) FitzJohn. She was an only child. She died on October 26th, 1327 in Cullen Castle, Banffshire, Scotland. She was buried in Dunfermline Abbey, Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland.
