Martha Borrowman 
Martha was born on November 7th, 1706 in Lonhead, Lasswade, Midlothian and her baptism took place there on November 10th, 1706. Martha's father was James Borrowman and her mother was Elizabeth Borthwick. Her paternal grandparents were John Barrowman and Janet Gray; her maternal grandparents were Sir Archibald Borthwick 16th Lord and Elizabeth Gillespie. She had three brothers and a sister, named Archibald, James, George and Isobel. She was the second oldest of the five children.-
