James Bisdee 
James was born in 1801 in Banwell, Somerset, England. James' father was Thomas Bisdee and his mother was Elizabeth Bishop. His paternal grandparents were John Bisdee and Anne Kington. He had six brothers and five sisters, named John, Edward, Thomas, George, Isaac, Alfred Henry, Mary, Eliza, Jane, Anne and Sarah. He was the third oldest of the twelve children.-
