Rudolf was born on December 7th, 1912 in Leipzig (Leibzig), Bessarabia, Russia (now Ukraine).1  Rudolf's father was Michael Sprecher and his mother was Sophie Borofsky (Sprecher).  His paternal grandparents were Christian Albrecht Sprecher and Christina Braun (Sprecher). He had two brothers and eight sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Johann, Michael, Mathilda, Rosina, Marie, Paulina, Sophie, Christine, Christine, Helene and ?.  He died about 1945.1

Rudolf and Ida were married in a religious & civil ceremony on February 4th, 1937.1
