Margaret was born on April 11th, 1861 in Atherstone, Warwickshire and her baptism took place on February 13th, 1877 in Parish Church, Atherstone, Warwickshire.1  Margaret's father was William SHILTON and her mother was Catherine CROWLEY.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas SHILTON and Ann HARRIS; her maternal grandparents were Samuel CROWLEY and Mary (UNKNOWN). She had three brothers named Joseph, Henry and Samuel.  She was the oldest of the four children.  She died at the age of 64 on July 19th, 1925 in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.
