Sylvia was born on February 28th, 1933 in Nuneaton, Warwickshire and her baptism took place on March 26th, 1933 in Chilvers Coton Parish Church, Nuneaton, Warwickshire.¹

She died at the age of 71 on December 20th, 2004 in Walsgrave Hospital, Coventry. The funeral took place on January 4th, 2005 in Heart of England Crematorium, Nuneaton, Warwickshire and was arranged by W.Smith & Sons, Avenue Road, Nuneaton.
