Ignace Benoit

Ignace was born on November 9th, 1812. Ignace's father was Ignatius Benoodt and his mother was Barbe Vandenberghe. His paternal grandparents were Joannes Baptiste Benoit and Regina Rosa Vansteenhuyze. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Eduardus Fernandus, Eduardus Ferdinandus, Charles François, Edmond Gustaaf, Melanie Nathalie, Joanna Justina, Amelie Barbara, Mathilde Catherina and Urgenia Francisca. He was the oldest of the ten children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Henri Leopold, Jules Eduard, Marie Philomene, Alise Clemence and Eulalie Rosalie. He died at 7 months old on June 14th, 1813.
