Sir Alan la Zouche
Sir Alan la was born on October 9th, 1267 in Ashby Folville, Melton, Mowbray, Leicester.1 Sir Alan la's father was Roger Lord of Ashby la Zouche and his mother was Ela Longespee. His maternal grandparents were Henry II Curtmantle King of England and Ida de Toeni. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Nicholas de, Hugh de and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 46 on March 25th, 1314 in Brackley, Northamptonshire.1 -
