Engelbert von Sponheim I

Engelbert was born in 1055.¹ Engelbert's father was Siegfried von Sponheim and his mother was Richgard von Lavant. His paternal grandparents were Everhard von Sponheim and Hedwig von Nellengurg; his maternal grandparents were Count Engelbert of Pusterhal and Luitgard of Istria. He was an only child. He died at the age of 42 on February 13th, 1097.¹
