Alaric was born in 0450 in Toledo, Visigothic Empire of Spain.1  Alaric's father was King Eorik of the Visigoths and his mother was Ragnachilde Susamunde.  His paternal grandparents were King Theodoric (The Brave) of the Visigoths I and Amalberge; his maternal grandparents were Prince Merovee of the Franks and Hatilde de Espana.  He was an only child.  He died  due to Killed in the Battle of the Campus Vogladensis / Vouillé by Clovis I, King of the Franks at the age of 57 in 0507.1

They had two sons named Amalaric and Athanagild.
