Garcia's father was King Inigo Iniquez Arista of Pamplona and his mother was Oneca Velasquez of Pamplona. His paternal grandparents were Inigo Ximinez Jiminez of Pamplona and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Count Velasco of Pamplona and Narvarre and <Unknown>. He was an only child. He died at the age of 75 in 0880.¹
