Hmayeak (Maiaktes) of Macedonia

Hmayeak, known as Maiaktes, was born in 0786.¹ Maiaktes' father was Hmayeak a Mamikonid Maiactes and his mother was Anna of Byzantium. His paternal grandparents were Artavazo Mamikonid and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Emperor Leo (The Isaurian) of Byzantium III and Maria of Byzantium. He had a half-brother named Nicephorus. He died about 0841.¹
