Hunroch was born about 0765 in Trieste, Fruili, Italy.1   Hunroch's father was Duke Berenger of the East Franks and his mother was <Unknown>.  His paternal grandparents were Adalric d'Artois and <Unknown>.  He was an only child.  He died on July 1st, 0875.2
