Earl Moddan of Caithness

Moddan was born about 1044 in Dalr, Caithness, Scotland.¹ Moddan's father was Mormaer Sinill de Angus and his mother was Donalda ingen Crinan. He had two sisters named Fimmghuala and Matilda. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died in 1120.²
