Joan was born in 1180 in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, England.1   Joan's father was Hugh de Noers and her mother was <Unknown>.  Her paternal grandparents were Hugh de Noers and <Unknown>.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 62 in 1242.1
