Sir Matthew de Lovaine 
Matthew was born in 1199 in Little Easton, Essex, England.1 Matthew's father was Sir Godfrey de Louvain and his mother was Alix de Courcy. His paternal grandparents were Duc Godefroi de Louvain III and Imaine von Loos. He was an only child. He died at the age of 59 in June 1258.1 General Notes
