Mathilda was born about 1244 in Ashstead, Surrey, England.1  Mathilda's father was Matthew de la Marr and her mother was <Unknown>.  She was an only child.  She died in 1286.2

Mathilda and Peter were married about 1262 in Beaudesert, Warwickshire, England.1  They had two sons and a daughter, named John, Simon and Elizabeth.
