Richilda de Hainault

Richilda was born in 1117 in Hainault, Flanders.¹ Richilda's father was Count Baudouin de Hainault III and her mother was Jolande von Wassenberg. Her paternal grandparents were Comte Baldwin de Flandres II and Ida de Louvain. She had two brothers and a sister, named Baudouin le Batisseur, Gerhard and Ida. She was the youngest of the four children.
