Egelina de Courtenay 
Egelina was born about 1261 in Oakhampton, Devonshire, England.1 Egelina's father was Sir John de Courtenay and her mother was Isabelle De Vere. Her paternal grandparents were Baron of Okehampton Robert de Courtenay and Mary de Redviers. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Baron of Okehampton Hugh, John, Robert, Alice, Margaret and Aveline. She was the youngest of the seven children.-
