Her paternal grandparents were Enguerrand II de Coucy and Agnes de Beaugency. She had two sisters named Yolande and Ada. She was the oldest of the three children. She had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Enguerrand III, Thomas II, Raoul, Robert I and Agnés.-
