Adeliza was born in 1035 in Beaumont, France.1   Adeliza's father was Comte Yves Ivo de Beaumont II and her mother was Judith Adela de Gournay.  Her paternal grandparents were Count Ivan Bellomontensis and Gisele Chevreuse; her maternal grandparents were Hugh de Gournay III and Basilie Basita Flaitel. She had two sisters named Agnes and Beatrix.  She was the second oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 56 on July 11th, 1091 in Rouen, Normandy, France.1

Adeliza and Hugh were married about 1050 in Grentemesnil, Calvados, France.2   They had three sons and three daughters, named Robert, Ives, Ivo, Amice, Agnes and Rohese.
