Thomas was born about 1451 in Grafton Regis, Northamptonshire, England.1 Thomas' father was 1st Earl of Rivers Sir Richard Woodville and his mother was Jacquetta de Luxembourg. His paternal grandparents were Richard Wydeville and Joan Bedlisgate. He had six brothers and eight sisters, named 2nd Earl Rivers Anthony, Sir John, Bishop of Salisbury Lionel, Lewis, 3rd Earl Rivers Richard, Sir Edward, Elizabeth, Anne, Martha, Jacquetta, Eleanor Joan, Margaret, Mary and Katherine. He was the sixth youngest of the fifteen children.-
