Major William Stith Wilkinson 
William Stith was born about 1704 in Henrico Co, Va. William Stith's father was John Wilkinson III and his mother was Frances Elam. His paternal grandparents were John Wilkinson II and Sarah Royall. He had four brothers named Anthony, Joseph, Martin and John. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died due to executed by Gov. Patrick Henry in 1776 in Buckingham Co, Va. He was buried in Powhaton Co, Va.General Notes
