John Wilkins

John was born on March 22nd, 1642 in Dorchester, Suffolk, Massachusetts.¹ John's father was Bray Wilkins and his mother was Hannah Gingell. His paternal grandparents were John Wilkins and Anne Vosse. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, Thomas, Henry, Benjamin, James, Aquila, Lydia and Margaet. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 81 in 1723 in Salem, Essex, Massachusetts.¹
