Garrett Warren 
Garrett was born on October 20th, 1846 in Green Co.,Kentucky. Garrett's father was Alfred Warren and his mother was Melvina Elkin. His maternal grandparents were Abel Elkin and Mary (Polly) Skaggs. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Hugh, Hezekiah, Abel Gordon, Hodgin, Hugh, Elizabeth, Didama, Johnnie Mary, Emma Susan and Alice. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 80 on March 10th, 1927 in Green Co.,Kentucky. He was buried in Off Stearman Road in Northern Green Co. Kentucky.General Notes
Garrett and America went from Green Co., Kentucky to Whitewright, Texas in a covered wagon shortly afeter they were married. They only stayed a couple or so years, then they returned on a train to Green Co., Kentucky. Reason: They did not like the flat land of Texas. Information from David G. Warren their Grandson .
Was a member of Liberty Church in Green Co., Kentucky in 1904. he was appointed as the Church's first Treasurer.
