Martha WHITTELSEY

Martha was born on September 1st, 1756.¹ Martha's father was Chauncy WHITTELSEY and her mother was Martha NEWTON. Her maternal grandparents were Roger NEWTON and Susannah BRYAN. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Newton, Samuel, John Bryan, Charles, Bryan, John, Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Susannah and Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the eleven children.
